Wood grouse - Tetrao urogallus

Lappish bird game challenges even the most experienced hunter during the whole hunting season. In Swedish Lapland there can be found not only hare, wood grouse and black grouse but also the more elusive and arctic willow grouse and rock ptarmigan. In the fall hunting trips are made on foot amongst the splendid colours of the arctic autumn. In the winter the best hunting grounds can be reached by skiing or with snow shoes. A lunch break by open fire turns the day into an experience not to be forgotten!

Black grouse - Tetrao tetrix

A hunting trip for independent hunters; 1 day

For experienced hunters. Lasse will guide the hunting party from Pajala to a suitable hunting ground. The party can move about and hunt in the area at their own pace and leasure until Lasse comes to meet the party in the agreed spot at the agreed time. Lasse can be reached over the phone throughout the whole day just in case the party needs extra guidance.

Willow grouse - Lagopus lagopus

Full service hunting trip; 1 day

For hunters wanting to take full advantage of the expertise and knowledge of local hunting grounds and game. Lasse will guide the hunting party from Pajala to suitable hunting grounds. The day will be spent tracking the Lappish wilderness in Lasse's guidance, lunch will be eaten on open fire in the forest. In addition to Lasse's services the price of the hunting trip includes meals served on open fire and national and local hunting licenses.

Rock ptarmigan - Lagopus muta

Full-board hunting trip in Vasikkavuoma - hey mire; 2 days and 1 night

For hunters who want to experience arctic hunting the old-fashioned way with the quidance of a seasoned local guide. Lasse will guide the hunting party from Pajala to suitable hunting grounds. The day will be spent hunting in the wilderness and in the nightfall the party will settle down in Vasikkavuoma cottage. During the evening the events of the day can be re-lived while eating well and relaxing in the sauna. After a good nights sleep the party will return to the wilderness for another days worth of hunting. In addition to Lasse's services the price of the full-board hunting trip includes all meals during the whole trip, accommodation and sauna in Vasikkavuoma cottage and mandatory national and local hunting licenses.
